FAQ - Taking Screenshots

At times, it may be necessary to provide Rumble Player Support with a screenshot of what you are experiencing. Screenshots can be used to capture the name of an individual who may be cheating in some fashion, or to give the full text of a bug or error that you are experiencing. Screenshots also provide specific details that will help Rumble Player Support to better assist you in whatever troubles you are experiencing.

 

If you are unsure of how to take and attach a screenshot to a ticket, instructions for Windows and Mac systems are provided below. These are basic instructions, and other methods are available; if you are aware of those methods (such as file upload sites, different image capture programs, etc) then feel free to use the method of your choosing.

 

For PC Users:

  1. With the browser selected & displaying the scenario you wish to capture, press the Alt key and the Print Screen (Prnt Scrn) key on your keyboard, both at the same time.
  2. Open Microsoft Paint: Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Click 'Paint'
  3. With Paint open, select the Edit toolbar menu and select Paste
  4. Select the File toolbar menu and select Save As.
  5. Change the Save As Type to JPG. Type a relevant filename for your image. Select a location to save the file to (such as your Desktop) and click Save.
  6. Click the Attach File>> option when creating a ticket.

*** For some laptops, you may need to hold down the Fn (Function) key to activate the Print Screen (Prnt Scrn) key. Please refer to your laptop documentation for complete instructions.

 

 

For Mac Users:

  1. Hold down the APPLE [Command], and SHIFT keys.
  2. Press 3 for a screen shot of the entire screen
  3. The screenshot appears as a file on your Desktop with the current date and time
  4. Open the screenshot
  5. Select FILE > SAVE AS from the top menu bar.
  6. In the Format dropdown, select JPG
  7. Select SAVE
  8. Click the Attach File>> option when creating a ticket.
